Safety Guidelines

Keeping our student community safe and respectful.

Verified students only

Every uSWAP member must sign up with a valid .edu email address. This ensures you're swapping with real students from your campus community.

Meet safely

For in-person swaps, meet in public campus spaces — libraries, student centers, or common areas. Let a friend know where you're going and when. Trust your instincts.

Be respectful

Treat every swap partner with kindness and respect. Clear communication is key — set expectations upfront, be on time, and honor your commitments.

Report concerns

If something doesn't feel right — a misleading profile, inappropriate behavior, or an academic integrity issue — report it immediately to hellouswap.app@gmail.com. We take every report seriously.

Not allowed on uSWAP

  • Ghostwriting, cheating, or anything that violates academic integrity
  • Commercial services or paid offerings
  • Harassment, discrimination, or any form of abuse
  • Sharing personal contact info publicly in listings
